To register, you need to enter your 10 digit mobile number and billing system password. To confirm your registration, they will send you a text message with a temporary password. This password is needed to complete registering. Your account will not be charged for this text message. If your device is unable to receive text messages, you can still continue with registration and your temporary password will be mailed to your billing address. Once received, sign in to My Verizon using your mobile number and temporary password.
What if you do not remember your Username or Password? No worry. There are solutions offered under the login box in case that you may forgot your Username or Password. If you forgot your User ID, you can start by entering your Mobile Number. It means that you can sign in to your account using your mobile number and then establish a new User ID in the profile section. If you forgot your Password, you need enter your mobile number first and answer your question to create your new password. If you didn’t set your secret question, a free text message from Verizon will be sent to your mobile number with a temporary password by which you can sign in My Verizon.
When calling in to Verizon Wireless Customer Service, you would be asked to provide the last four digits of the Account Owner’s Social Security Number (SSN) for authentication purposes. However, the Account Owner can choose to create a custom password to be used instead of their SSN. This is the billing system password.
